In a recent chat with Bangalore Times, actress Manvita Kamath discussed her busy schedule with a Kannada-Marathi bilingual project, a rare direct OTT release in Kannada cinema, and an upcoming Kannada theatre release later this year. She delved into her experience working across various mediums in the film industry, highlighting the evolving landscape of cinema. Sharing insights on her preference for traditional theatrical screenings and the expanding reach of OTT platforms, she emphasized the importance of adapting to changing audience preferences. Manvita also touched upon the impact of social media on her personal life and career choices, remarking on the blurred lines between reality and online personas.I used to struggle with interviews because I didn't think I had enough to say as news. Nowadays, social media plays a big role in how people perceive me, and sometimes I question if I should step up my game on there. It's unfortunate that what people see online often shapes their beliefs. What you do behind the scenes – your hard work, dedication, and passion for your craft – may go unnoticed because it's not showcased to everyone.

I am determined not to let negativity affect me. I appreciate the support of my mentors and close friends. My husband, Arun, and his family provide me with unwavering support. While my mother was initially hesitant about my career in the film industry, my husband and his parents are highly supportive and celebrate my accomplishments.

I admit that I may have been naive for a significant portion of my career. However, as I grow both personally and professionally, I have learned to set boundaries and avoid being taken advantage of. I have intentionally distanced myself from individuals who undermine my self-confidence. My goal is to do meaningful work, and I refuse to let negativity dampen my spirit.
